In reflection of this week I meet various challenges both personal and in learning. I am still finding challenge with the twitter and blogging systems. I am very excited to continue to overcome these as I move forward. In discussion with Gerald I believe there was mutual encouragement to always be assessing ques. This conversation was further engaged by another student offering the challenge of asking how to get students reengaged.
The idea of cues was somewhat reversed in thought as it relates to the cues that we give as instructors. I was challenged by this at first as I thought back to being a child and thriving off of positive cues and some negative cues that provided me a sense of right and wrong in the school environment. Further interaction in discussion provided more understanding of what my peer was saying and she provided me with a text that could further provide information.I am see it as a similar idea that as nurses we are not to say "good job" as it may indicate that what was done before was not "good". I have always struggled with this idea. Environment was a topic of learning that I found brought excitement to the idea of teaching through differentiated learning. This past week I rad about Social-emotional learning and role identification as ways to differentiate learning in the class room. To bring a safe environment to the learning process assist in confidence which aides in learning success. In review I am looking forward to learning more topics and becoming more knowledgeable with the technology that can assist in both my students and my own learning process. To improve the learning environment and reading cues for positive outcomes.
